This breakfast could not be easier and it’s good for you. My husband makes this smoothie for us every week. He found a recipe years ago in a magazine and has tweaked it over the years. The protein shake adds a sweet vanilla flavor and protein boost, but you can also use kefir or almond milk. 11 ounces is the size of the protein shake we usually use, but if your preferred brand is a bit larger or smaller, just use the whole container. This is a very forgiving recipe.
Ingredients
- 11 ounces vanilla protein shake, almond milk, or kefir
- 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1 1/3 cups frozen blueberries
Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend on the "liquefy" setting until everything is mixed.
